Want to learn how to see things like an artist? The endless variety of forms and configurations in still-life drawing is perfect for practicing your observational skills. Join us for an evening of sketching led by local artist Lin Chen. The class will include a demo focusing on the first stage of still-life drawing: choosing the layout of the overall image and discovering proportional relationships among the parts. Participants can choose to draw alongside or after the demo, using the methods they find to be the most effective or intuitive. All drawing materials will be provided.
