Small Business Spotlight – Sweet Greens Vegan
Shakayla Houston started Sweet Greens Vegan three years ago when she embarked on her own plant-based journey for health reasons and now she’s spreading the word on the lifestyle’s big benefit and bold flavors. Shakayla’s goal isn’t to convert anyone but to “make Meatless Mondays more fun!”
CCP Townhall – Covid and Minority Communities
Good Day NWA’s Jaclyn House hosts a townhall featuring Dr. Sylvia Bartley from the Medtronic Foundation. Dr. Bartley presents her research on the disproportionate effect of Covid-19 on minority communities as well as the adverse effect of toxic stress stemming from current events.
